Douala
Located at the mouth of the Wouri River, Douala was the administrative capital of Cameroon under German colonization, until 1901. With a tropical climate, Douala has not only the largest and most important port in Cameroon but also the main airport of Cameroon. Today, Douala is one of the most expensive cities in Africa and is the first city in tropical Africa with a natural gas supply network.
